The Importance of Listening to the Young People

Today, teenagers make up one quarter of the world’s population. They are vigorous, full of ideas and optimistic about the coming times. The aspirations and achievements of these 1.8 billion people will obviously shape the global community into a better place. With the right environment and guidance, they are perfectly able to grasp the future and plant it with their wisdom.

So instead of skepticism, is it important to pass the mic to our ambitious youth and just let them work their magic. As a school, our teachers have listened to their voices and set a framework while removing limits, giving them enough opportunities and encouraging them to think, research and solve problems by themselves. 

CIS Student Council: Fostering a Strong Connection Between the School and Students

The CIS Student Council is a student-led organization which encourages student expression and assistance in school affairs and activities. CIS gives all our students opportunities to gain experience in leadership and encourage student community relations.

Over the last four years, CIS Student Council members have been engaged in many events and activities both inside and outside of campus, carrying a mission to elevate students’ leadership ability and provide a stage where they can truly shine.
