CIS celebrated the Class of 2024 at a glamourous gala, following a momentous commencement ceremony. Applause, cheers and prayers from families, guests and community leaders filled the hotel ballroom as our graduates walked in, proud and excited to celebrate with those in attendance. For CIS, it was an honor to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of these remarkable individuals, who have all received offers to top 100 universities around the world.
As a dynamic international community, CIS was honored to invite guests from consulates, chambers of commerce, MNCs and alumni to witness and celebrate the milestone moments of our future leaders. Now, as the Class of 2024 heads off to pursue their professional dreams in different countries, they had the opportunity tonight to deepen friendships within this international family.
Distinguished guests in attendance were representatives from the Canadian Consulate General, French Consulate General, American Consulate General, British Consulate General, Indonesian Consulate General, Colombian Consulate General, Swiss Consulate General, Belgian Consulate General, Malaysian Consulate General, New Zealand Consulate General, Greek Consulate General, Cambodian Consulate General, German Consulate General, Mexican Consulate General, Australian Consulate General, AmCham South China, British Chamber of Commerce, China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Australian Chamber of Commerce, China Southern Airlines, United Family Hospital, alumni from Class of 2023, alumni from Class of 2017, CIS Parent School Council, and plenty more.
Mr. Ted Barks, Secondary Vice Principal said, "Our cohort of 2024 continue to be leaders and role models to our younger students. I have no doubt that each of our graduates will make the world better in ways both big and small. We are immensely pleased to honor this esteemed cohort tonight, and we look forward to them returning to CIS as alumni year after year."
