University Fair for CIS Seniors

Last week, some of our Grade 11 and 12 students and parents travelled to Macao to attend a university fair hosted by our sister school, The International School of Macao. 

The TIS team worked hard to organize an exceptional event, with 93 excellent universities from 13 countries brought together under one roof to guide students and parents about everything they need to know about their academic programs and campus life. It was an opportunity for our soon graduating Grade 12 students to really crystallize their thoughts on university options, as well as a chance for our Grade 11s to start thinking what they may wish to pursue next year.

Among the booths were representatives from some of the world’s leading universities, including University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, University of California, University of Sydney, City University of HK, HK University of Science and Technology, University of Leeds, and plenty more. There were also booths focusing on international programs from Europe, Singapore and more, making it a truly international fair.

During our visit to the university fair, CIS students were recognized for their exceptional skills, with many representatives inviting our students to apply for admissions and even for scholarships. One of our students from the Class of 2023 received a CAD80,000 to the University of British Columbia, a top university in Canada, and this year, we know that more scholarships will be coming our way!
