It's with great enthusiasm that we welcome our new staff members to the caring CIS community for the upcoming academic year! Hailing from Canada and various corners of the globe, these professional educators are poised to infuse their unique perspectives into our vibrant learning environment.
Our new Grizzlies were warmly welcomed by the CIS leadership team. With a busy agenda of introductions, workshops and interactive sessions, they got a taste of the CIS academic ethos, our systems and processes and plenty more, and even enjoyed a session about the cultural richness of Guangzhou！ Understanding the CIS educational philosophy was a core component of the orientation. Our newcomers delved into our commitment to holistic education and our dedication to fostering a nurturing environment conducive to both personal and academic growth. IB PYP Introduction CIS is a multicultural mosaic, and to help our new staff feel at home, a classic Cantonese feast was served after a very exciting team building activity. This served as a wonderful icebreaker, fostering an immediate sense of belonging to our caring community. The one and only CIS 'Amazing Race'! As we conclude our ‘New Grizzlies’ Orientation Week, we're excited to see the energy, creativity, and passion our new additions have demonstrated. Their passion for education, combined with their readiness to contribute to our community, promises an enriching academic year ahead, further strengthening the collective learning and teaching experience for our community! We can’t wait to welcome the rest of our community back to campus next week! GO GRIZZLIES!
