These eight core competencies are embedded into our Canadian curriculum for every grade level. CIS students are taught to develop a complete set of skills to ensure they are ready for life beyond school. 

To help our parents gain a better understanding of the world-famous Canadian (Alberta) curriculum, CIS hosted mid-year curriculum sessions for each stage of school, from ECE all the way to High School. The purpose of these events was to ensure that all our families are fully aware of what their children are learning and how this learning benefits them, both now and in the future.

Canadian Consulate Presents Talk on "Education in Canada"

CIS is thankful to the Canadian Consulate of Guangzhou for giving our Junior High and High school students and parents an inspiring talk on ‘Education in Canada’. Mr. Wu Long and Ms. Connie Li from the Canadian Consulate of Guangzhou discussed the advantages of Canadian education, and why so many students choose Canadian universities and colleges. They noted that students choosing Canadian universities can work whilst studying and may even be granted a work visa after graduation, which can lead to permanent residency or even citizenship.
