PHOTOS|Alberta Family Day!
Today, CIS celebrated Alberta Family Day with all our Early Childhood and Elementary families!
Did you know that Alberta Family Day back in Canada is a holiday? It is intended to give people time to rest from work and spend time with their families. In 1990, Family Day was first celebrated in Alberta, making it the only province to have a statutory holiday in February. Now it's observed in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and New Brunswick on the third Monday of February.
At ClS, we believe that family is the foundation of a healthy society and economy. Today, we celebrated togetherness and our caring community, while remembering that the roots of our well-being is truly family. Check out some beautiful moments of this gorgeous afternoon of song, dance, fun, games, our outdoor picnic, and plenty more!
A big shout-out to our Kindergarten to Grade 5 students for presenting an amazing outdoor concert. Huge thank you to our ECE and Elementary Fine Arts team!
There's nothing more important than family. Thank you for spending time with CIS. See you next year for yet another amazing Alberta Family Day!
