In the last few years, CIS has overcome many obstacles during COVID times, and we’ve always risen above it. Our caring community has become more proactive, flexible and perseverant. With Guangzhou facing a big challenge this past week, our community has come together as a TEAM to continue our pursuit of academic excellence in our online classes.
Even though CIS was only given very short notice, our teachers and staff immediately prepared learning materials for students to bring home. Online meeting codes were set up, tasks were posted and everyone pivoted towards ensuring that learning was consistent, enjoyable and exciting as always! It is our teachers’ professionalism and sincere care for our students and families that truly makes CIS a caring community.
If there's one thing our future leaders need to learn from the past years, it is the ability to adapt and flexible, no matter what time and space we are in. Being challenged also means the opportunity to grow our skillset and mindset. Way to go, Grizzlies!
