It’s been a busy first month of school for our Secondary students, especially our Grade 12 seniors. University application season is starting and our students have been preparing themselves for their personal statements, transcripts, and other application documents. But before we get into further details, how do our students set goals and make plans for their dream universities?
Turning Dreams into Reality
Each year, CIS graduates turn their passions into a pursuit of professions at universities around the world, from Canada, US and Europe, to Hong Kong, Singapore and China (mainland). This year is no different! With a much larger cohort and plenty of academic dreams to fulfil, the CIS University Guidance and Careers Office (U-GO) team have fully dedicated themselves from the onset to supporting our students by bringing in face-to-face opportunities with counselors/admissions officers from top universities around the world. Our aim for all our students at CIS is clear: We’re here to give you valuable insights and information to make the best choice and accomplish your higher education goals.
Study in Switzerland – CIS University Workshop
On September 28, CIS students and parents had the chance to talk to representative from Swiss Education Group at our ‘CIS University Workshop Series’, learning about four top hospitality management schools and life in Switzerland.
Amazing Schools 2022
Just a week ago, Teachdeme, in partnership with CIS, hosted the Amazing Schools 2022 Forum. The Forum established the World’s Future Leaders Plan, a China-European Cooperation Project that seeks to work together in providing practical opportunities, internship, entrepreneurship to teenagers so that they can learn and lead in the world, both today and tomorrow.
We also had a chance to meet with some admissions officers from universities and colleges from Canada, US and Australia. We look forward to see all of them very soon at the CIS campus for workshops and presentations!

In October and November, CIS is welcoming more universities from around the world for workshops and face-to-face opportunities with our students. From Durham University and University of Warwick in the UK, to Queens University and McMaster University in Canada, there’s plenty more on offer for CIS families.
