Kia Ora, CIS!
CIS is committed to creating a fascinating community where students can experience the world's diverse cultures. This week, we welcomed Rebekah Mawson, Consul General of New Zealand in Guangzhou, and her wonderful team from the New Zealand Consulate of Guangzhou to visit and share the essence of New Zealand's unique culture with CIS students and staff!

Let's Try a Maori Dance!
CIS students had an enjoyable and immersive lesson about New Zealand culture from the team. They shared a lot of fascinating stories and knowledge about their country: from geography and culture to artistic traditions and traditional dishes! We even listened to a traditional Maori story, and sang and danced to a traditional Maori song!
From CIS to New Zealand!
CIS’ holistic education ensures that we build leaders with global mindsets who are knowledgeable and appreciative of educational, cultural, social, and economic systems in other countries. Events such as New Zealand Week help us develop such awareness through avenues like arts, music and more.
We are also proud to share that in this year's graduate acceptance, CIS students received two offers from the University of Auckland. U of Auckland is the best university in New Zealand and among the Top 100 universities in the world. Our future leaders are starting their journey from CIS, embracing multiculturalism and international-mindedness, and heading to prestigious universities around the world.
