Music Camp Information


Vocal 声乐

· 1-on-1 Vocal class (5 Classes)

· Group vocal class (4 Classes)

· Ensemble class (4 Classes)

· ABRSM music theory class, everyday

· 1-2 hours practice time, everyday


Requirement:

· 4 Students only

· Students aged 8-18 with basic vocal and music theory foundation.


Piano 钢琴

· 1-on-1 Piano class (5 Classes)

· 1-on-1 Piano art direction class (2 Classes) 

· Ensemble class (6 Classes)

· ABRSM music theory class, everyday

· 1-2 hours practicing time, everyday


Requirement:

· 4 Students only

· Students aged 8-18 years old, with more than three years experience of piano classes and a Grade 4 or higher piano certificate is preferred.


Violin 小提琴


· 1-on-1 Violin class (5 Classes)

· 1-on-1 Violin art direction class (5 Classes)

·  Ensemble class (6 Classes)

· ABRSM music theory class, everyday

· 1-2 hours practicing time, everyday


Requirement:

· 2 Students only

· Students aged 8-18 years old, with more than two years-experience of violin classes and a graded violin certificate is preferred.


Cello 大提琴


· 1-on-1 Cello class (5 Classes)

· 1-on-1 Cello art direction class (2 Classes)

· Ensemble class (6 Classes)

· ABRSM music theory class, everyday

· 1-2 hours practicing time, everyday


Requirement:

· 2 Students only

· Students aged 8-18 years old, with more than two years experience of cello classes and a graded cello certificate is preferred.

Yvonne Tang

CIS Music Camp Art Direction/ Vocal Music Teacher

• Started to learn vocal music in Guangzhou since 2012. Went to Berlin, Germany in Sept 2015. Vocal music taught by Simone Schröder, soprano musician of Berlin State Opera and director to vocal music faculty, school of music, Brandenburg University.


• In summer 2016, Vocal music taught by Prof. Ruth Altrock, famous Germany vocal music educator, department head of vocal music and lifetime professor of Kassel Conservatory of Music, Germany.

Sharmaine Hsia

Master's degree in Piano and Harpsichord Performance-Music and Education, State Conservatory of Music, Münster, Germany.


• She went to Germany to study piano and harpsichord performance and music education in 2013. During her stay in Germany, she studied piano performance with Christina Löffler, piano instructor of the Berlin University of the Arts.


•She has received guidance from masters such as Sheng Yuan, Luo Naixin and Jürgen Schröder. She also won the third prize of Der Förderverein Stiftung "Peredur Kassel" eV Chamber Trio Competition, the second prize of Brahms category of the 2nd German-Chinese Peer Irmler Piano Open Competition, and the second prize of the 3rd Guangdong Kawai Piano Competition.

Katherine Tan

Violin Bachelor of Xinghai Conservatory of Music. Admitted to Xinghai Conservatory of Music in 2016 with the second-best overall score.


• She has been studying violin with professional teacher Chen Wenjing since she was young and has a high talent for performance since she was a child. She received her Grade 10 certificate from the China Conservatory of Music while she was in elementary school, and then she received her Grade 8 certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music while she was in junior high school.


• She was employed as a violin teacher in the Music Art Studio of Artisan, art director of Pan Yin Culture Development, first violinist of Dongguan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, and second violin principal of Exeter Symphony Orchestra.

Mona Liu

Cello Bachelor of Xinghai Conservatory of Music. Silver Medalist of the 5th String Competition of Guangdong Province. Third place in the "Hengqin Cup" National String Competition.

• She has been coached by Laszlo Fenyo, Qin Liwei, Zhu Mu, Chen Weiping, and other famous cello professors in China and abroad, and has received unanimous praise.


• In terms of teaching, she is also responsible for leading the cello section of the Sha Mian Primary School String Orchestra, the cello section of the Science City Primary School Orchestra, and the Dongguan Dalang Primary School String Orchestra, which have all received many successful performances. She has also been very successful in 1vs1 teaching, leading many students to participate in the Emperor's Exam and domestic examinations with excellent results.
