Canadian Consulate Celebrates Thanksgiving at CIS!
What are you grateful for?
At CIS, our community understands the power of gratitude. We are grateful for our wonderful students, our amazing parents/guardians, our kind and professional teachers and staff, and our beautiful campus, where children learn today to lead tomorrow in a spirit of collaboration, innovation and success.
This year, the entire CIS community gathered together for our customary Thanksgiving feast, complete with turkey, ham and all the trimmings! Thanksgiving Day is an annual Canadian holiday, celebrated in the second week of October, to give thanks and express our gratitude for good health, family and our community. Indeed, our students and teachers have plenty to be grateful for! ( Click for the past events )
This year, CIS invited current and new members of our Parent Advisory Council to join us in welcoming our dear friends from The Consulate General of Canada in Guangzhou.
Consul General Philippe Rheault, Ms. Flora Zeng and Consul Mark Vcislo joined the leadership team at CIS for a tour of our beautiful campus, and to meet our staff and students. They also partook in an annual CIS tradition: carving our delicious turkey for our Thanksgiving feast!
Special thank you to The Consulate General of Canada in Guangzhou, for being continuous supporters of CIS. Together, we are stronger.
