CIS Admissions 2026-2027

The Canadian International School of Guangzhou (CIS) offers an Early Childhood to Grade 12 education based on the Canadian (Alberta) curriculum. CIS is the first IB PYP international school in Panyu District. In alignment with our status as an Alberta Accredited, Pre-K to Grade 12, International School and an IB World School, we are committed to providing a challenging, high-quality international education that fosters diverse and inclusive learning experiences. We also offer Advanced Placement Program as enrichment and extension of the Alberta curriculum in High School. We welcome all international families with child aged 2-18 to apply for enrolment.

Over the past 13 years, CIS has built a strong track record, including a 100% Top 100 university acceptance rate—across the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and other countries. The Class of 2026 further achieved an outstanding 100% Top 50 university acceptance rate. Our alumni network spans the globe, with graduates making their mark across diverse fields and regions. With award-winning programs in STEAM, music, and sports—including our robotics team, which won the National Robotics Championship—and over 100 after-school activities that support holistic growth, CIS blends world-class curricula with a whole-child development approach.
