CIS was honored to welcome international pianist Mr. Andrea Molteni for a series of one-on-one masterclasses and a classical piano recital at CIS. The event carried even wider global significance, with support from multiple consulates and representatives from Italy, Germany, Spain, Kuwait, Thailand, Mexico, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines—as well as the British Chamber. For CIS students, this was more than a lesson and more than a concert. Learning from Mr. Andrea Molteni meant seeing up close what professional excellence looks like: how to listen, think, practice, perform under pressure, and deliver consistently. These skills extend far beyond music—they become core strengths students carry into every future challenge.

CIS Music Program: Skills Every Future Leader Needs
Every CIS student begins learning at least one musical instrument from Grade 5 onward—not just to "play," but to build habits that become character, and character that pushes them toward higher standards. At CIS, we know that musical development is a lifelong asset: focus, emotional regulation, discipline, teamwork, and collaboration all grow naturally through continuous practice and real performance experiences.
World-Class ResourcesEveryday Excellence
At CIS, music education isn't an add-on—it's a signature strength.
We partner with top artists, host high-level global exchanges, and give students real stages, real pressure, real growth. The result? Confident, versatile performers and leaders who excel in music—and everywhere else.
This is the CIS difference.

The influence of CIS's music program now resonates across the Greater Bay Area, setting new benchmarks for music education. Our students continue to demonstrate leadership and artistry on international stages, while alumni shine at top universities worldwide. One recent graduate was admitted to Carnegie Mellon University for a dual degree in Music and Computer Science—joining a program that has produced Grammy and Tony Award winners. We are also proud to share that another student has enrolled at Berklee College of Music, one of the world's most prestigious institutions for contemporary music.
