New Year Letter

Dear CIS Parents and Guardians,

As we bid farewell to another remarkable year, I wanted to take a moment to extend my warmest wishes to you and your families for a joyful and prosperous New Year. It is with great pleasure that I reflect on the wonderful experiences and achievements our school community has shared throughout the past year.

First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and trust in our school's mission to provide a world-class education to our students. Your dedication to their growth and success has been instrumental in shaping our community into a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.

I am thrilled to share that our school is truly flourishing in its commitment to global leadership opportunities and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities. Over the past year, we have expanded our international partnerships and collaborations, enabling our G6-9 students to engage in enriching cultural Experience Trips to develop a rich global perspective. Through these initiatives, our students have gained invaluable insights, fostering their understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and ideas. More trips will continue this school year, so do look out for more information.

Moreover, our focus on STEAM, especially since Mr. Voykin has joined us, has continued to empower our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the ever-evolving world. By promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, we have witnessed our students excel in various STEAM competitions and class projects. Their passion and dedication to these disciplines have been truly inspiring, and we are proud to see their achievements recognized on both local and international platforms.

Another remarkable accomplishment of our school is the continued success of our graduates. It brings me immense joy to share that our several current Grade 12 students have received offers from Top 100 universities around the world. This achievement speaks volumes about the quality of education and preparation they receive at our school. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and confident that they will excel in their chosen fields, and will make a positive and lasting impact on society one day.

As we embark on the journey of a new year, we are beyond thrilled to build upon these achievements and further enhance the educational experiences we offer to our students. After an extended search, we are pleased to welcome enhanced and updated Grizzly Football and Grizzly Swim Academy programs for our students that will begin in the new year. They will receive world class training from proven world class coaches. Be sure to get the information you need and sign up! There is already much excitement from our students about these Academies.

We remain committed to providing all of our students with a supportive and nurturing environment, equipping them with the skills and values necessary to become future leaders and global citizens.
