We recognize that learning cannot take place unless students feel safe and cared for at school. At CIS, we teach students important values such as respect, acceptance, kindness and responsibility so that they can develop successful interpersonal skills. Through group work and co-operative learning, students learn important social and life skills, and how to interact positively with teachers and their peers. Students get involved in the community by participating in charitable performances, social justice and fundraising. Students can learn to appreciate the need to be true global citizens, in age-appropriate ways, with a sense of responsibility to the challenges of their local community, their country and their world.
