CIEO/CIS International Education Conference
CIEO/CIS
The CIEO/CIS International Education Conference that took place on Friday was an opportunity for all CIS teachers, other educational leaders from other schools and international schools to get together to share and learn many important updates and developments in international education.

This year’s main theme was Innovation, and our guest speakers came and spoke about the newest inventions, and tech development and how they can be brought into our children’s learning. It was not only exciting but fun to see our teachers sparking some great ideas, discussions, and you can just feel their eagerness and buzz of bringing some of this into their classrooms.
A Parent Conference/Forum took place in the afternoon brought together many parents that are also interested in learning.

Crazy Hat/Hair day
Always fun to let your hair out sometimes… and well, in this case, go CRAZY with it. This week many students (and teachers) took some time to have fun and had a day where students came to school with some very creative hairstyles!

Notice: Deliveries to School
Access to buying goods online is very accessible nowadays, and often with young children, they can now make purchases online without any supervision.
In order to provide a safe environment for your children, and allow parents more supervision and the ability to monitor their children’s purchases, CIS will refrain from accepting ANY packages/parcels to be delivered to the students at school.
Parents are welcome to contact our Student Services should any items need to reach your child during the day.
Call: 020-39939333
Also a reminder to parents, should you wish to arrange a birthday or other celebration with your child’s class, you’re welcome to place cake orders with Student Services. Student/parents are not allowed to bring food items for sharing.
G2 Jungle Adventure

Traveling out to the mountains, our Grade 2’s went off on a little adventure. While enjoying the outdoors and the fresh air, they also took on a little rope obstacle course challenge. What a great way to enjoy teamwork and a little physical exercise under the sun. Watch out and don’t look down!
