Winter is upon us and the Christmas spirit is everywhere on campus! The giant Christmas tree at the school gate welcomed more than 500 families to the CIS Winter Festival and Christmas Carnival this past Saturday.
Santa arrived in his sleigh with jingle bells ringing. The jolly fellow handed out Christmas gifts and wishes to all. Each CIS family received a special Christmas gift bag!!
How many of the 100 Santa poses did you take? CIS’s Christmas tree will definitely become the most unique and memorable Christmas tradition.
Under the winter sunshine, more than 50 booths from the CIS community provided various food and drink options. Families were able to participate in engaging activities and DIY handcrafts.
The most popular booths were our very own CIS teachers’. Also, IKEA, METRO and Sam’s Club booth’s were filled with festive spirit. There’s nothing quite like Christmas decorations and food to bring out the holiday cheer!
Music is essential for creating a merry Christmas season! The highlight of the Winter Festival was the performance in the auditorium given by our preschool to grade 6 students’. They performed a beautiful collection of modern and holiday Christmas classics through drums, chorus, and the recorder. Thank you for lighting up the Christmas spirit in all of us!
Music continued on the outdoor stage, with eye-catching magic shows. It gave us an element of surprise and was definitely entertaining.
Thank you to everyone who joined the celebration of CIS’s Winter Festival and Christmas Carnival. It was a beautiful display of school community and the wonderful extended family of CIS. We are more than happy to share additional information with you about our diverse culture here at CIS. We look forward to seeing you again!
